Felted Cats
When I was in high school, I used to make
extra money by creating stuffed animals and puppets. I
have always had a fascination for 3D characters and when I
discovered needle felting I was hooked!
Needle felting is the process of taking
wool and a sharp needle to mat the fibers and create a
sculpture. It takes many hours and thousands of jabs to sculpt
in wool. Each of my cats have glass eyes and nylon
whiskers.
Here are some of my newest projects...
What fun! I can't wait to start on
some more! These little guys will be available at the Las Vegas
Harvest Festival and soon in the Big Cat Store.
